Even though the trays are waterproofed, it is advisable to decant any wet sand out and dry it before reuse. This will prevent any discolouration to your tray.

The beauty and challenge in making my trays is that no two bits of wood are the same... and wood is essentially a live material. I always try to let markings be a distinguishing mark where possible.
